Rebecca Simic is an Australian professional artist, classically trained flutist (Sydney Conservatorium Of Music), operatically trained mezzo soprano singer, composer and performer, nominated for an Australian Entertainment Industry “MO” Award, distributed by EMI records and member of MCPS and PRS (UK songwriters and performers societies) and Actors Equity Australia.

As a professional artist, her career leads her to perform all over the world with her cabaret show, jazz and big band at International Music Festivals, on television, at gala events (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden), on stage with other artists (Paul McCartney) and royal performances (HM Queen Elizabeth of England at Windsor Castle).

As a writer and producer, Rebecca creates original songs, books and the children’s musical “The Yippees” and is a member of SASEM.

As a mother and PTA board member of the International Anglophone Section at the Institut de la Tour, Rebecca has first hand experience of the positive results the performing arts and a bilingual education brings with her son graduating with top 20/20
marks for The Grand Oral, English and Sport Art Performance in his Baccalauréat Exams. Rebecca’s son is currently studying at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Now, passionate about passing her skills and knowledge in the Performing Arts to the next generation, Rebecca creates and teaches innovative performing arts programs in Musical Theatre (primary and secondary) and Rhythm and Music (preschool and primary).
